This site is born from my need to fulfill my dream! Since 1989, all my major dreams or, at least, hopes, were, more or less, linked to the only man I treasure (for the record, I am more than straight ;-) ), Jean Claude Van Damme.

Everything began in 1988; I was stressed with the exams about to follow, since I had to enter then at the University of Medicine! As a present- for a Romanian it was a great gift at that harsh time- my parents bought a video player and they hid it, planning to surprise me only after taking my exams! Well, they failed! The nasty boy I was then managed to find it and… you can imagine, plugging it in the morning, borrowing tapes and seeing them, putting it back in place in the afternoon, when my parents had to return, that was my daily activity!

 One of these days, I was lent a movie entitled Bloodsport. I have in mind that day, just like it was yesterday! I saw it, EVERYTHING ELSE FROM THAT DAY CHANGED AND KEPT ON BEING LINKED TO MR. JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME! That day I didn’t conceal the player anymore, nor put it back in place! I waited for my father to come home and drove him to the TV, where I pushed the PLAY button. He didn’t say anything until the end of the movie! When the credits vanished, he smiled at me and went: “God damn! Where did you find that?! He’s sensational, who the hell is this guy?!?!” My father was into boxing for many years, before becoming a doctor, like his child was up to, in the end. So, he knew what he said! IT WASN’T ONLY A CHILDISH OPINION OF MINE, A FRUSTRATED GUY WHO WASN’T ABLE TO LEARN ANYMORE AND FOUND OUT AN ESCAPE FROM THAT, IT WAS THE TRUTH: A NEW ACTION STAR WAS BORN! THE BEST ONE, I CONCLUDED AFTER ALL THESE YEARS: WHAM-BAM, VAN DAMME!
